Essential phone to start ship by end of June: Yesterday we informed you that Essential Phone is out with its unique features. The name could be Essential PH-1 and the smartphone could start shipping by end of June 2017. Andy Rubin during an interview after the smartphone announcement said that they are planning to ship out reservations "within 30 days." Intel introduces new Core X-series processors with Core i9: Intel announced new Core X-series. These are Intel flagship series for desktop processors. Along with With Core X series, the company also introduced Core i9 series. Core X-series has nine different versions from which five announced today and four Intel will announce later. Customers now have option to choose from 4 to 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 cores. This makes it one of the most diverse range in the market. Qualcomm in contact with LG about Snapdragon 845 in LG G7: Qualcomm is very active these days in promoting their upcoming Snapdragon 845. First they reached Samsung and now LG. If you remember, LG missed to get the advantage of Snapdragon 835 in their LG G6 like Samsung  Galaxy S8/S8+ . Rather Snapdragon 835 G6 flagship had older generation Snapdragon 821 chipset. Now, Qualcomm is thinking to catch up LG to use Snapdragon 845 for the LG G7 next year. LG V30 is using Snapdragon 835. LG official says that: “The adoption of the Snapdragon 845 for LG’s next flagship phone seems inevitable, considering the emerging virtual reality and augmented reality solutions require more powerful data processing capability”

Apple tells Android users that Life is easier on iPhone: Android and iOS are two most dominant Operating Systems of all times. Some people are not so loyal in terms of choosing platforms. They switch from iOS to Android or Android to iOS. Apple wants to get attention of those people so today a whole page of their website is dedicated to attract Android users to its mobile operating system and iPhones. Google to solve the problem of fragmentation of emojis on Android

Google will allow developers to view the latest emojis, thanks to the support library of Android: Android O is on its way.  Fragmentation has long been one of the key issues for Android. Manufacturers and operators are slow to offer updates, when they propose them, so that today Android Nougat, the latest version of the system, represents only 7% of the fleet, more than 6 months after its release. Samsung Galaxy S8 announced in China: Samsung has finally launched its 2017 flagship Galaxy S8 in China. The event took place at Great Wall Theater which is located beneath the Great Wall as shown below: In the event the speakers announced collaborations with some of China’s most popular gaming and video services. This includes Tencent and iQiyi to optimize content which helps users to take full advantage of the Samsung Galaxy S8’s Infinity Display. In the launch event Samsung also discussed its partnerships with Weibo. Weibo is China’s most popular micro blogging website and the WPS Office software. This will offer users to utilize more ways in their Gear 360 camera and Samsung DeX. Galaxy S8 is officially go on sale in China from May 25th 2017. There's currently no information about the price of this flagship.

Android O Beta Program for Pixel and Nexus devices: Google has unveiled Android O Beta Program. We are still not sure what O stands for but any says that it’s Oreo. This program lets anyone with a supported device test the next release of the operating system just like last years Nougat before its development is finalized. The Developer Preview of Android O was out since March 2017 but Google decided not to give this update to non-developers in their handsets. HTC U11: HTC has made its next flagship official. We have seen many leaks which indicates that it’s called U11. U is basically a marketing strategy by HTC to show that its a member of the new U family (U Ultra and U Play), along with the successor to the HTC 10 from last year. HTC did something different this time. They introduced dubbed Edge Sense. This function lets you squeeze your HTC U 11 to perform specific actions. For example to snap a photo, all you need to do is to squeeze the U11 frame. HTC also gives you feature to customize this function of how hard you need to squeeze to make some feature happen. HTC U11 also features Sense Companion which they introduced in U Ultra. This app suggests you based on what you do and how you use your device. HTC U11 also features built-in Google Assistant. iPhone SE (2017) with glass back: Apple is working on the successor of iPhone SE they introduced last year. It is expected to be out next month during Apple's developer conference. This said news came from China in which they show what the new iPhone SE (2017) iPhone SE will look like. If this is the true leak then it’s obvious that Apple will switch from metal to glass in their new model. What makes this news more interesting is that Apple may use be using Ion-X glass. It’s the same material that adorns the Apple Watch Sport. This also shows in the image below: The camera and flash on the back however are vertically aligned this time. Galaxy S7 sales hit 55 million milestone: 2018 is proving to be lucky for Samsung. After hitting record pre orders  in  Korea  and  US.  Strategy Analytics  is a market research  firm gave new report by stating that Samsung has managed to sell more than 55 million units of its Galaxy S7/S7 Edge  flagship smartphones till date. In the first quarter of 2017 Samsung sold 7.2 million  Galaxy S7 /S7 edge units. Samsung sold 92.8 million devices from January 2017 to March 2017. In these numbers 80 million were smartphones. The Korean giant Samsung managed to capture 23% share of the global smartphone market.
