Qualcomm to announce Snapdragon 845 in December: Last year in November Qualcomm announced Snapdragon 835 chipset and Samsung Galaxy S8 was the first smartphone which has SD835. Qualcomm is all set to go for Snapdragon 845 for 2018 flagships. Just like last year rumored had that Samsung Galaxy S9 will be the first phone to get SD 845 (the very first batch). The US based company will likely to reveal latest Snapdragon Processor at Snapdragon Technology Summit in December. The event is scheduled from 4th December to 8th in Maui, Hawaii. Hereunder a leaked invitation on Weibo. Qualcomms new chipset SD 845 is likely to be 10nm or 7nm FinFET technology. If its 7nm chip then it is likely to be 25 to 35% faster than the 10nm chip.

HTC U11 Plus - New Image Released by HTC

On 2nd November, HTC will unveil its new smartphone in China. HTC released a new tweet where we can clearly see the outline of what we think is the HTC U11 Plus. We can also note the new slogan "you'll see everything November 11, 2017" that accompanies an image where the internal electronics of the phone seems visible. This might be the wireless charging but we’re not sure yet. Nokia 7 – Nokia’s premium mid-range smartphone

Nokia 7 – Nokia’s premium mid-range smartphone: HMD Global added a new smartphone in Nokia Android Smartphone series. This time they made some changes, Nokia 7 is the first phone from Nokia which has glass back supported with aluminum frame 7000 series and Gorilla Glass 3 on front. That’s not all, Nokia 7 is IP54 certification. This means the phone is splash proof. Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 inside backed with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. 64 GB built-in storage with option of adding microSD cards. The screen is a 5.2 inch full HD (1080p IPS LCD). The main camera of Nokia 7 is 16 MP with f/1.8 aperture, 1.12um pixels, and a dual-tone LED flash. On front it has 5 MP (f/2.0 with larger 1.4um pixels). Off course all this comes under Carl Zeiss imaging experience. This includes the ability to capture a split screen visual for photos as well as videos. Lenovo announced devices getting Android O:

After the official announcement of Google’s latest OS “Android Oreo”, every Android user is waiting eagerly for the news of compatible devices from their smartphone manufacturers. Lenovo has revealed the compatibility of their K series smartphones which will get Android O. Lenovo K8, K8 Plus and K8 Note are mid-range devices which will surely get the Android 8.0 as per Lenovo. According to Lenovo, K8should get Oreo in June 2018, while the other two devices (K8 Plus and K8 Note)will receive this update a month later….. In July 2018.   More details are here.

Qualcomm introduced Snapdragon 636 with Quick Charge 4.0

Qualcomm is the leading manufacturer to provide chipsets for Android devices. Their processors are highly liked by the Android users. In Hong Kong, Qualcomm is hosting 4G/5G Summit where Qualcomm and other ecosystem leaders discussing about the next generation connectivity. Qualcomm introduced its new 14nm FinFET process-based Snapdragon 636 chipset for mid-range devices. It is basically an upgrade version of Snapdragon 630. Huawei’s 2017 Flagship, Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro

Today, Huawei has officially unveiled the Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Porsche Design. Mate 10 Design and Display: Kicking off with the design, Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro have an 18:9 aspect ratio “FullView” display. In simple words, Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro have “bezel-less” displays just like other 2017 flagship devices. There are no rounded corners on the Mate 10 & Mate 10 Pro. Huawei used a mixture of 3D glass and metal in these phones. They have curved back, which really helps to hole the phone easily despite having a large screen. Huawei Mate 10 has a 5.99 inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) IPS LCD while the Mate 10 Pro features 6.0 inch Full HD (2160 x 1080) OLED screen. Also, the brightness can go from 1.8 nits up to 730 nits.
