iPhone loses its top spot in China:

iPhones is known as the top selling smartphones in China since 2012. This crown is no longer with Apple because it is taken by Android. According to the new reports from Counterpoint Research, Oppo's R9 has taken the lead in top selling smartphone in China.


The report says that 17 million R9 units were sold in China last year. These numbers are equal to 4% of the market share. In comparison, Apple managed to sell only 12 million units of the iPhone 6s, which is only 2% of the market.
The report also says that Oppo's shipments in China increased by 106% whereas Apple's flagship declined by 21%.
