Exynos 9810 chipset from Samsung – next generation CPU and GPU:

During the CES 2018 Innovation Awards Samsung won 36 awards for its devices including their new Exynos 9810 chipset. According to the reports, the next generation of Samsung, Galaxy S9 will be powered by Exynos 9810 or Snapdragon 845 in some regions.

This new generation chipset is built with 3rd generation custom cores. GPU is now Mali-G72 cores instead of Mali G71. Theis new chipset is manufactured on a 2nd generation 10 nm process.

 In connectivity, Exynos 9810 use Samsung’s latest 1.2Gbps modem (Cat. 18 6CA). This is the fastest modem so far which covers 6 carriers for increased performance. It gives 1.2 GBPS download speed at max. In camera section, Samsung introduced ISOCELL Slim 2X7. It's a 24 mega pixel sensor with 0.9µm pixels and pixel binning is used for improved low-light performance.

 Samsung did not tell much about the new chip capabilities. There was no launch event or even a press release about their new chipset.
