Xiaomi sells more than 150,000 Redmi Y1 in 3 minutes:

On Thursday 2nd November, Xiaomi introduced its much awaited MIUI 9 along with Redmi Y1 and Y1 Lite. Today was the first flash sale day of these phones. Surprisingly, Xiaomi sold over 150,000 units in just three minutes. Mr. Manu Kumar Jain (Managing Director – Xiaomi India) confirmed this report.

Internal specs are the same but in Special Edition (Red color). This new variant has been launched in Indonesia only with the price of IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) 3,099,000. This equals to $215 approx.
