HTC Bolt


After several rumors of HTC Bolt, HTC finally launched its mid-range phone under Sprint carrier (US). The phone is waterproof and Usain Bolt is on the promotion of the phone.



If we talk about the design, HTC Bolt is somehow looks similar to the 2016 flagship by HTC, HTC 10. The screen however is 5.5” QHD resolution. Bolt covers the regulations of IP57 and has 20 x 3Mhz (X10 modem) which gives you about 300mbps speed thanks to Sprint’s LTE.
Fingerprint scanner reads fingerprint in 0.2 seconds with face detection camera. The camera is 16 MP with an f/2.0 lens. The camera is also Optical Image Stabilize. Recording 4K videos is not a problem for this device. In front we have 8MP camera with Auto HDR mode.
HTC removed 3.5mm audio jack but they provide you Boom Sound Audio headphones promise to gives the best audio output (24-bit Hi Res).

USB Type C port also added which supports Quick Charge 2.0. 3200Mah battery with thickness of 8.1mm thickness.
In software section Android 7.0 Nougat provided out of the box.
In performance HTC Bolt doesn’t have high end specs. Snapdragon 810 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. However, microSD slot is there to expand your storage.
HTC Bolt is available from today at Sprint stores. $25 a month, 24 months in a row or you could buy in $600 unlocked from Best Buy.
