Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 – Snapdragon 830:


After announcing mid-range processors like Snapdragon 653, 626 and 427, the company is pushing its limit to the top. Qualcomm is going to launch its Quick Charge 4.0 soon. This technology is going to implement in their upcoming processor Snapdragon 830. The rumors are saying that Snapdragon 830 is going to support 28W with comparison to Quick Charge 2.0 and 3.0 which supports max charging rate of 18W.


If we look to the other competitor’s fast charging technology Oppo’s VOOC support 20W, Huawei with 22.5W. Google Pixel phones support 18W.
The new technology by Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 chargers support 5V/4.7A to 5.6A, or 9V/3A. The company says that this technology will enhance the charging procedure by wisely recognizes the maximum quantity of power charged by your device battery. It will also prevent your phone from overheating.
The company will introduce its Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 with Quick Charge 4.0 in early 2017. Rumors are saying that S8 is going to have this processor.
5G modem (X50) was already introduced by Qualcomm. It’s the first 5G modem ever.
