Huawei Mate 8 Nougat Update


Huawei launched it’s 2016 flagship Mate 9 few weeks ago. The phone comes with Android N 7.0 but no one was sure about Android N update for Mate 8.


Android N update for Mate 8 is already available in Huawei’s Mate 8 update server but it’s not been rolled out officially by the company. Many believes that the update will be available after Mate 9 hits the retail stores to get the most of the customers which makes sense. In XDA forum, Mate 8 users downloaded and installed the new software and made a video showing the whole process of installing this update.

If we look into the video below, the new Android N brings EMUI update also which is 5.0 (same as Mate 9). The camera app however isn’t the same and differentiate in pro mode and shooting mode. Please check the below video for the newest features coming in Huawei’s Mate 8.
