7nm chipsets from Mediatek and TSMC:

MediaTek is Chinese SOC manufacturer who is expecting to announce its new chipset made on a 7nm process and will have 12 cores. This is a huge jump from Mediatek because Samsung is already near to 10nm and Qualcomm is in 14nm already.


The report says that Mediatek and TSMC are working together in this project to introduce more efficient chipset. The 7nm SoC will have 12 cores while their latest Helio X30 has 10 cores.
