Apple initiates App Accelerator Bengaluru in India:
After taking initiatives of starting production of iPhone SE in India, Apple announced that it is going to start a new app development center in Bengaluru, India which will be known as App Accelerator Bengaluru. The aim of this program is to accommodate developers to create more apps for Apple’s platforms (iOS).
In Apple Accelerator Bengaluru, Apple experts will initiate seminars and provide one-to-one app reviews for young developers to build iOS apps, watchOS and other apps for Apple platforms. Apple facility will also provide support and guidance on Apple’s new programming language of above platforms. Apple will provide specialized briefings for more than 500 developers every week. This also includes detailed app analysis and feedback as young developers work on their apps.
Phil Schiller, who is Apple’s senior vice president of World Marketing said,
“We are impressed by the great entrepreneurial spirit in India, and are excited to provide a platform for these developers to share their innovations with customers around the world. In just the first few weeks, we’ve already seen some incredible developers here at the App Accelerator Bengaluru, including Practo and Reliance Games, create innovative apps that can meet the needs of customers in India and around the world.”
