iPhone 8 geekbench, the power house
iPhone 8 Geek Bench, the power house:
The iPhone 8 is going to be a beast when it comes to the performance of its processor. Today a leaked image shows up in China showing the results from the iPhone 8 running Geekbench 4.0.
As the image above shows, the benchmark is so powerful, it absolutely destroyed the competition.
Its single-core score has 4,537 points. It is 30% more compared to the iPhone 7. You might wonder what the newly launched Samsung Galaxy S8 has. It scores 1,945. iPhone 8 performance is more than twice than Samsung Galaxy S8.
If we talk about the multi-core performance of the iPhone 8 (8,975) its 58% better than its predecessor. The Android device which scored the best here so far is the Galaxy S8+ with 6,338. This means that the next iPhone performs 41% better than its most important Android-based competitor.
We know that the benchmarks do not depict real world performance. So it doesn’t mean that the iPhone 8 is much better than the S8 in day to day usage. But these results prove that Apple is focused is to create the most powerful mobile chipsets ever.
It is important to mention here that it is not difficult to make such screenshots so by all means, don't take any of this for granted.
If we believe that the leaked image is true, then iPhone 8 has a screen resolution of 2,800 x 1,242. That’s even taller than the 18.5:9 Samsung did on its Galaxy S8.
iPhone 8 runs iOS 11 as expected. The A11 chipset has a 2.74 GHz quad-core CPU with 128KB of L1 cache. The clock speed of iPhone 8 increased by 17% as compared to iPhone 7.
