Android distribution Dec 2017 - Growing numbers of Oreo and Nougat

Android Operating System distribution with growing numbers of Oreo and Nougat:

Google released the Android OS shares in the Android smartphone market. The pie chart reveals that Oreo has nearly doubled its share in Android platform by capturing 0.5% of the market. The share was only 0.3% last month.

 Not just Oreo, Nougat shares are also up and now has 23.3% compared to 20.6% in November. People tends to shift to newer devices which cause decline in older Android versions.

Marshmallow is down to 29.7% from 30.9%, Lollipop 26.3%, from 27.2% and KitKat to 13.4% from 13.8%.

 The remaining versions combined shares are now 6.8%, down from 7.2% in November 2017.
