Xiaomi Mi A1: Oreo update allows you to quick charge your device

With the update to Android 8.0 Oreo, the Xiaomi Mi A1 can finally be recharged faster, thus remedying one of its flaws.

The Xiaomi Mi A1 had aroused the curiosity of a lot of people at the time of its announcement. Far from being a flagship, this smartphone has the main interest to be the first of the brand to run Android One, the very minimal version of Google's operating system. However, the interface was based on Android Nougat, but the beta of Android 8.0 Oreo is in progress (for beta users only).

This update has brought a big positive point: fast charging. While testing the Xiaomi Mi A1, we noticed the fact that the battery was charging too slowly and it took about an hour to go from 0 to 60% - and about two hours to refuel. But, as Telecomtalk.info points out, the phone, after going under Oreo, now needs 92 minutes to go from 0 to 100% battery.

This is a nice improvement that should make the Xiaomi Mi A1 an even more interesting device. The update to Oreo also provides, among other things, quick access to application settings (long press on the app icon), better animations and even more fluidity. The photo performance is also optimized.

Xiaomi has promised that A1 owners will get the Oreo update within this year. The wait isn't long now.
